Background & Experience

Rocky's career in real estate started at the age of 21 when he became the broker of a family owned real estate business in Northern Ca. During that time he was a board member and president of the local MLS association along with being honored as "realtor of the year" on a few of occasions. Time was spent in the community as a Rotary member, city council member and mayor pro-tem as well as being involved in numerous other organizations. Rocky still owns and operates his original brokerage with a partner under the office name of Main Street Realty Group.

In 2007 his family relocated to Colorado. Involvement in his new community lead him in the direction of economic development and real estate. He obtained his Colorado Brokers license in 2008 and specialized in Commercial Real Estate, working with Coldwell Banker. He was also a board member and president of the Chamber of Commerce, a board member with the Economic Development division, a Rotarian and city council member as well as Mayor of the City of Sterling.

Restaurant ownership is also a part of Rocky's background as he oversees a fast causal concept called Planet Sub in downtown Denver. Through that business there was involvement with numerous organizations including the economic development division for downtown (referred to as the Downtown Denver Partnership), the Restaurant Association, Metro Denver Chamber of Commerce and the Colorado Convention Center organization referred to as "Visit Denver".

The move to Carson City took place in January of 2015. The lure of the mountains (both Sierra Nevada and the Rockies) has always been a big part of his family's lifestyle. The relocation provided the opportunity to take advantage of all that the Carson/Tahoe region has to offer and bought him closer to friends, family and business.
